As a small company, we try our best to be as environmentally sustainable as possible.
It’s very important to us, and we want it to be very important to you!
Reuse
Our bags are made of a special material that can be reused 3-5 times to brew coffee and tea.
All you have to do is remove the coffee/tea, rinse the filter under warm water, and let it dry.
That’s it! It’s ready to be reused.
Very important: Do not use any detergent and do not put in the dishwasher.
Recycle
With different products and packaging available it can be difficult to know how to recycle them, so we are taking away the worry and recycling them for you.
You can now return your empties and packaging to us and we will work with TerraCycle® to recycle them for you.
What is TerraCycle®?
TerraCycle® was founded in 2001 and operates in 20 countries. Over 63 million people have collected billions of pieces of waste, raising over $15 million for charities. Be the Brewster® is proud to partner with TerraCycle® so we can help grow these numbers!
TerraCycle® is “Eliminating the Idea of Waste®” by recycling what is traditionally “non-recyclable” and diverting waste from landfill and incinerators. We are excited to offer this service to our customers so that we can all lower our impact on the environment.
How can you help?
Return your empties to us! Send us your old filters and sachets.
At Be the Brewster ®’s office we have “Zero Waste Boxes”, so that our packaging supplies and product packaging that you want to recycle can be sorted into these boxes to be processed by TerraCycle® so it skips landfill.
We also offer all our shipping bags, tape and label address made of Compostable material, when you make a purchase.
All our Paper packaging is also recyclable!
Wash, Dry and Send
Once your products are all used up, rinse the drip filter bags, ensuring as much remaining product has been removed.
Let it air dry and send it to us. We would urge you to save up your empties in a box until you have a full package to return to us, avoiding excess carbon emissions!

We will send you a personal returns label so you can send us a full envelope of empty sachets/filters.
